刺し子のがま口ポーチです。
今回お届けする３点のうち、
こちらの１点だけ、刺し子に綿糸を使っています。
リネンに静かになじむ、綿糸のやわらかな質感。
光の角度によって変わる、針目の表情をお楽しみください。
口金のウッドバーも、
この生地に合わせて仕上げ直しました。
一度ネジを外し、やすりで元の塗装を落としてから、
ほんの少し艶の出る透明の塗料を塗っています。
木そのものの色を生かした、自然な仕上がりです。
この作業は、大工である夫が手がけました。
布と糸、そして木。
それぞれの色や質感が心地よく重なるように仕立てた、
小さな、持ち歩ける作品です。

・手洗い・洗濯機でのお洗濯はできません。汚れた場合は、固く絞った布で軽く拭き取ってください。
・直射日光や蛍光灯の光が長時間当たると、退色の原因になります。
・タッセルは強く引っ張らず、やさしく扱ってください。
・物の詰めすぎや、口金に無理な力を加えることは、破損の原因になります。
・他の衣類や小物との摩擦により、毛羽立ちが生じる場合があります。
手仕事のため、針目や仕上がりにはわずかな揺らぎがあります。布と糸の表情として、お楽しみいただけましたら幸いです。

Shiraai | Pale Blue Sashiko Pouch
Stitched by hand, this small clasp pouch holds delicate patterns of light and shadow.
Of the three pouches in this collection, this is the only one stitched with cotton thread. Its soft texture settles quietly into the linen, revealing subtle changes as the light shifts.
The wooden clasp was refinished to complement the fabric. My husband, a carpenter, removed the screws, sanded away the original coating, and applied a clear finish with a gentle sheen to reveal the wood’s natural colour.
Fabric, thread, and wood come together in a small artwork to carry with you.
Outlet price
Slight unevenness developed in the fabric on the back during the application of fusible interfacing. This piece is offered at a reduced price for that reason. Please check the last three photos and make sure you are comfortable with the finish before purchasing.

Care
• Do not hand wash or machine wash. Gently wipe marks with a tightly wrung damp cloth.
• Avoid prolonged exposure to direct sunlight or fluorescent light to prevent fading.
• Handle the tassel gently; do not pull it.
• Do not overfill the pouch or force the clasp.
• Friction may cause fuzzing. Slight variations in the stitching and finish are part of its handmade character.
