✔︎ This kit includes a special original pattern sheet.
Instead of a standard full-size cardboard template, I have prepared the same type of pattern sheet that I personally use when making my own sashiko handkerchiefs.
✔︎ Five backing fabrics are included so that you can freely choose the fabric that best suits the image of each sashiko thread.
The two unused pieces of fabric can also be used with the original pattern sheet to make one simple handkerchief from natural fabric.
This is a kit that is designed not only for ease of making, but also to help you gently deepen the way you approach sashiko.
With each stitch, your relationship with the cloth begins to change.
As you experience that transformation, you may begin to notice something:

This kit allows you to make three sashiko handkerchiefs and one plain handkerchief.
Finished size:
20 cm × 20 cm each
You will stitch three different sashiko patterns using three types of sashiko thread.
The kit includes all the necessary tools, such as the instruction booklet, pattern sheet, needle, needle threader, and sashiko threads.
Please note:
Some of the backing fabrics and the colors of the NONA thread have been changed from the version previously sold at Mitsukoshi Handicrafts.
